Who would take Joey Barton Now?
Joey Barton has always been in the papers but never for the right reason.
When he was at Manchester Cit he attacked a team mate on the training pitch which lead to the victim being blind through swelling round the eye for a number of days.
Kevin Keegan and Newcastle decided that they would sign the troubled star as they believed they could rehabilitate him to the player he should be. Unfortunately being at Newcastle did not help as he was arrested and sent to jail for attacking a young lad in the center of Liverpool over a Christmas period 2008.
Joey Barton this year has been suspended for a record number of games and then in his last game he got sent off within seconds of coming on to play against Liverpool.
As you can tell from this glittering record he is probably the worst player you want on a team but he recons that he can should get offers from the likes of Everton.
Question for me is does he really think he will get offers like this??
One Signing and the People Think Everything has Changed
As today ends Carlos Tevez has left Manchester United and signed for Manchester City. As a result of this their is a stirring of posts saying that the end is nigh for Manchester United. Some people are saying that Manchester United will become feeder club for Manchester City.
Now……
I remember last year the papers said that with all that money they could buy anyone. They will demolish anyone who gets in their way. blah blah blah. They even had pictures of what the squad would look like with the like of Ronaldo, KaKa, and Benemza.
So a year later who have they bought that was on the picture. Yes as you have guessed no one. The only reason Tevez has gone to City is because he is sick and tired of being a second rate striker at a club he loves. The other reason is that he does not have to move very far to play.
So why is everyone saying that this is it for united all over now…..
Man City the new Sunderland???

I remember some members of my family talking about when Sunderland became ‘bank of England’. They were in a postion of great wealth and people believed they would take on the world and beat them all. Sadly that season they got relegated.
My question is will this happen to Man City???
