Joey Barton has always been in the papers but never for the right reason.

When he was at Manchester Cit he attacked a team mate on the training pitch which lead to the victim being blind through swelling round the eye for a number of days.

Kevin Keegan and Newcastle decided that they would sign the troubled star as they believed they could rehabilitate him to the player he should be. Unfortunately being at Newcastle did not help as he was arrested and sent to jail for attacking a young lad in the center of Liverpool over a Christmas period 2008.

Joey Barton this year has been suspended for a record number of games and then in his last game he got sent off within seconds of coming on to play against Liverpool.

As you can tell from this glittering record he is probably the worst player you want on a team but he recons that he can should get offers from the likes of Everton.

Question for me is does he really think he will get offers like this??

When Newcastle were brought into the relegation battle that in the end lost, Michael Owen announced that he would wait till the end of the season to sort his contract out for the next season.

Well 2 months ago there was a dirty rumour that Michale Owen was thinking about hanging up his football boots and start to concentrate on the horses that he owns.

The main reason behind this is that Michael Owen since last euro’s has been dogged with injuries. I think that Owen has decided that he is coming to the end of his career and feels that quitting now would be a good thing.

Do you think that it is a good idea that Michael Owen ends his career now.

I am not surprised maybe disappointed about Newcastle but definitely not surprised.

we will just have to try and turn it round wont we.

I am writing this post hoping that I dont have to delete it at the end.

What I am trying to say is that Sunderland are at present loosing 3-1 to Portsmouth. If they do loose the question to ask is…. Can Sunderland be caught out and get relegated on the last day of the season???

Newcastle – We travel to Aston Villa for the last game of the season where we have to come away with a win. A win for me will do it. I recon this because we have the best goal difference now that Sunderland have lost. As long as we win I think. Also we have the easier of tasks.

Hull – Hull have to take on Manchester United at home. Thus I think they may not win.

Sunderland – Sunderland take on Chelsea at Chelsea. Fat chance of winning anything.

Middlesbrough – They need everything to go there way including world domination and a team to go into administration. Ah and probably a revelution aswell.

Newcastle have seen some hope.

Newcastle had a good derby win against Middlesbrough who at present are alot closer to the bottom than they think. I am a avid Newcastle fan but I feel sorry for Middlesbrough. They have a good good squad, good enough to be challenging the top half of the table.

But this season there has been so many teams who should have done better who have not. biggest example is Newcastle. With all the stars they have they are still not clear of relegation fight and they could still be relegated if results don’t go there way.

If you believe the rumours Shearer new Newcastle Manager???

Charles Insomnia N’Zogbia made a declaration of war against Newcastle and fans last weeks on his way out of Newcastle. Insomnia was convinced he would be playing for either Arsenal, Lyon, Real Madrid. He ended up at Wigan!!
