I am sat here working and watching Northwich Vs Lincoln and I had to stop to create this post as it was one of the best games I have seen this season.

It is not just the fact that it is a the 3rd round of the FA cup. It is the fact that everyone is putting there heart and sleeve on the line to win this game. A big example of this is the fact that there was a fully blooded challenge by two players where in the Premier League both players would of stayed down and been injured for weeks.The two players in this game got up and walked on and that is the spirit of the FA Cup is summed up in that game.

Why is it that the FA Cup is a contest that brings out the best in people??

I know it is the only one of its type. I know that theoretically Blyth Spartans could win the FA Cup but they shouldn’t. But when they took Blackburn at home they played aswell as or in parts better than Blackburn.

My question is why is it that all men are equal in this contest there are no better team, I mean look at Blyth, or Burton against Man U 2006!!!
