England did not need to win today nor did they need to draw, but you would think that capello would want to win all games in the competition. This is why I think that England purposely lost the game so that Croatia don’t qualify.

Last night England did not play great and Ukraine really were the better team.

With the last game being on Wednesday I believe that this could of been on purpose to prevent Croatia going through.

Capello has been a superb manager for Roma, Juventus, Real Madrid and at the minute England. Capello showed how good he was by in 2007 guiding real Madrid who had not won La Ligue since 2003 to there crown even though in march they were fourth and playing as a very average team.

Capello as England Manager has now beat the last two records of

1. ever being in a finals with two games to spare.

2. and also beating the record set by the 1966 team of 9 games unbeaten.

I am not getting my hopes up but signs are goos when even the opposition are saying that we are not playing englandish.

This Cup is suppose to be two fold. Firstly it is aimed at the giving the hosts a dress rehearsal of the main event. South Africa have been in the spot light since they were announced to the hist country. There has been something scary like over 300 murders within a mile of every stadium since the announcement was made. This is a shocking figure considering it was about 2 years ago it was announced.

Secondly it shows who will actually come out and possibly win the world cup. At the end of the day it is a bit of fun but with a hint of seriousness. Well this is all fair and good but you always think god it will not live up to the real world cup. I think the last time we had something to shout about was roberto carlos freekick.

To be honest tho it has been some good fun if you ask me.
