Carling Cup Thriller
Last night we witness a Carling Cup thriller that saw Aston Villa take on Blackburn.
Think that this game was a legendary.
10 goal thriller
Premier League Results 24th October 2009
Birmingham 2 – 1 Sunderland
With all the problems that Birmingham have had with the take over, struggling to get to grips with the league and Steve Bruce coming back against his old side Birmingham had a massive task today. But they performed well and they showed to the new owner that they were a better team than there visitors. There will be alot of happy faces at St Andrews where Sunderland will be going away shaking there heads.
Ridgewell and McFadden were the scores for Birmingham taking them to a impressive lead with only an hour to go in the game. Dann scored an own goal in the last ten minutes for the visitors but Birmingham were the better team for me. I fancy them to go on a good run of form now.
Burnley 1 – 3 Wigan
After the last result when Blackburn took the game to Burnley, Burnley pulled back and nearly equalised in the game. Today’s game was important to Burnley as they must of thought that they could of pulled three points away from this game and after 4 minutes they must of thought that it was there day after Fletcher scored. Wigan reacted by this though and Rodallega got two goals and Boyce finished Wigans fight back in style. For me Burnley are leeking goals and are at present in trouble they need to start getting points as Portsmouth for me are getting close to a winning combination.
Chelsea – Blackburn
This game is still getting played so I cannot comment. The latest score is 3-0 to Chelsea so I think they will go top of the league for tonight.
Hull 0 – 0 Portsmouth
What have I got to say about this goalless draw, mmmm let me think about it long and hard. Well actually nothing happened at all. The game was dull and boring and I cannot remember anything from the game. I must of blocked it out. This will probably be classed as the most boring game of 2009 – 2010 season. I suppose the only thing you can say is that at least Portsmouth got a point.
Tottenham 0 – 1 Stoke
A Manager and Coaching staff can prepare for a game for days coming up to a game. When the keeper calls in sick twenty minutes before the game starts the manager will have a headache. Sorensson did this very task and from this the substitute keeper Simonsen was able to start and show how much he is needed. He pulled of brilliant save after brilliant save that earned them the victory. Glenn Whelan struck late for Stoke City to come away with three points.
Spurs on the other hand showed a good display but were unlucky not to win never mind walking away losers. Harry Redkanpp had used all his substitutes when Aaron Lennon was injured and Spurs had to play the last ten minutes with only ten mens.
Wolverhampton 1 – 1 Aston Villa
It is not every day that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is the person to scored to earn Wolves a well deserved comeback against Villa Parks. Agbonlahor was the convertor from a pass from Heskeys header that nearly gave Villa there best start since 1999.
El Hadji Diouf on potential Racist Charges
I have said for along time that in my mind the most hated footballer in the world is El Hadji Diouf.
I have said this due to the fact he keeps aiming to get into trouble at any game he can and he does not like any fans and is happy to face an argument. He is like a much worse version of Craig Bellamy. Well at the weekend when Everton took on Blackburn at home there was a reported incident that saw Diouf apparently shout racial abuse at a ball boy.
This for me is discusting, if it is actually true he should be given a ban similar to a positive drugs test. We are trying to clamp down on racisim in the sport and Diouf goes and gives some to a small child who is there to have a good time while watching his beloved Everton.
I think the he should be banned from the game for 6 months at least.

Ronaldo £80m Bid Accepted
Christiano Ronaldo will be a Real Madrid player by the end of the week.

Here Ronaldo is requesting a taxi to Madrid
Manchester United have agreed a fee of around about £80m for Christiano Ronaldo who was bought 4 years for 12 million. Real Madrid have been trying to sign Ronaldo since he became a united player and now look like they have successfully completed the move.
All that Ronaldo needs to decide is how much they will pay him per week after tax. There is talk that it will be as much as $300,00 pound per week.
Ronaldo was last season the unstoppable force that help Manchester United to there crown and to him being recognised as the best player in the world.
My Question is…. Is he really worth it??
I think that he is good but is he really that good.

BSkyB 4 – 2 Setanta
More than 80% of live televised Premier League games will appear on BSkyB after the broadcaster snatched some of the TV rights from rival Setanta.
The broadcasters have each won one of the two remaining packages of UK broadcast rights for 2010 to 2013.
The deal takes the total generated from selling the rights to £1.782bn – about 5% more than the current deal.
Earlier this week the Premier League said BSkyB had retained four of the six packages of audio-visual rights.
It looks like Setanta will have a lot of trouble trying to survive against Sky.
Villas in Valencia going for £90 Million!!
Manchester City have been quoted an eye-watering £90 million for Valencia and Spain star David Villa, manager Mark Hughes has claimed.
City famously missed out on the signing of Kaka for a world record £108 million and the deep financial resources available to their owners, Abu Dhabi United Group, has seen the club linked with all manner of world stars.
Villa, who was top scorer at Euro 2008, has come into their sights after scoring a vastly-impressive 74 goals in 120 Primera Liga appearances for Valencia and Hughes has confirmed that City made an approach for the 27-year-old.
